Building Performance Institute (BPI) is a national standards development organization for residential energy efficiency and weatherization retrofit work. Many federal, state, and utility initiatives require BPI certifications for contractor participation in energy efficiency projects. See BPI for more information.

VT Tech is a BPI Training and Certification Center. We currently offer several courses that lead to BPI certification in our regular schedule and will continue to add to this selection.

For those already BPI-certified, many of our courses also provide valuable BPI Continuing Education Units. Certified professionals are required to earn CEUs to keep on top of emerging issues, technologies, and best practices.
