Over the next decade, energy and energy management will be a focus of consumers, grid operators and regulators. At the same time, traditional “trades” people will be impacted by the “Greening” of technology and the complexity that it will bring to their work. The skills and knowledge necessary to construct and maintain “Intelligent Energy Infrastructure” will require workforce development investments and continuing education into the foreseeable future. This workshop will serve to pull together and associate the elements of modern infrastructure as well as to expose areas of knowledge“gaps”.
