Intro to Geothermal Systems for
New England

Prerequisites: none
Looking to gain a solid understanding of geothermal HVAC systems? This half-day introductory course is geared to help you do just that.

Guest lecturer, industry expert, and NEGPA President Martin Orio will provide an introduction to geothermal HVAC systems and explain critical information about earth-coupling, machinery, and distribution as they relate to these time-tested sustainable heating and cooling systems. Participants will also gain an understanding of system efficiency measurement and design-related effect. Because Mr. Orio is vice president for sales and marketing at Water Energy Distributor's, Inc. of  New Hampshire, you will have the unique  opportunity to learn how to present the product in a responsible and effective manner from an experienced geothermal professional working in the field.

The geothermal training concludes with a review of costs, benefits, and  tax/rebate opportunities in New England, and then moves into an open-ended Q & A session. Each attendee will receive a certificate of completion for this workshop.
